You drafted Robert Griffin III and watched him blow up on your bench. What could you get for him on the open market? Our Dave Richard shares his take on that and his updated Trade Value Chart.

Our Trade Value Chart is designed to assist you in making fair trades in your standard-scoring league. The values assigned to the players below are strictly a measurement of their Fantasy value heading into the current week. By adding two players' values you could determine what one player you might be able to get in return. This list should also provide a glimpse into how we feel about a player for the remainder of the season.
Whether you drafted him to be your starter or took him as a high-upside backup with a mid-round pick this fall, Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III has paid off. Through two weeks, no quarterback has posted as many Fantasy points in a standard format than the man they call RG3.
In Week 1 he threw well against the Saints, thanks in big part to an 88-yard touchdown completion to Pierre Garcon. Without Garcon in Week 2 and against a feisty Rams defense, he threw for just 206 yards and a lone score, but his feet came in handy, finding the end zone twice on rushes while racking up 82 rushing yards. Whether you believe in Griffin or not, you have to be impressed by his versatility. Now, is this going to last or is it simply a matter of circ*mstance (i.e., bad defenses)?
Let's see if Fantasy owners are selling high on RG3 and if they are, what they're getting for him. I recently solicted these trades from my Twitter account (@daverichard).
Robert Griffin III for LeSean McCoy: What a steal for the owner getting McCoy. Griffin has outscored McCoy this season but it's commonplace for quality quarterbacks to outproduce running backs. The nature of supply and demand in Fantasy lends itself to running backs being more valuable than quarterbacks. In a two-QB league this trade makes sense but it's bogus in standard and PPR formats. Massive overpay for Griffin.
Robert Griffin III for Stevan Ridley: This is more like it, if not even a slight edge to the owner getting Griffin. Ridley isn't quite the property McCoy is but is still a valuable ball-hog running back. This is the perfect kind of deal for the Fantasy owner who took RG3 and an elite quarterback and needed help at running back.
Robert Griffin III for Reggie Wayne and Mark Ingram: According to the trade chart this is a fair deal -- the Wayne/Ingram side is favored. But on the surface it seems like peanuts for Griffin. It's when you realize how impactful Wayne has been (206 yards and a score) and the amount of work Ingram has been getting (22 carries to lead the Saints) that makes the deal more appealing. Our hunch is that the Griffin owner had him as a backup and padded his roster with this move.
Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Hillis, Kenny Britt and Randall Cobb for Michael Vick, Jordy Nelson, Ben Tate and Aaron Hernandez. Why is this trade relevant? Because the owner who took Rodgers in the first round also took RG3 in the eighth round and now has some incredible talent on his roster after cashing in Rodgers, not Griffin! This is another element to Robert Griffin III -- if he wasn't drafted to be your No. 1 passer you could still make him a starter and expect a heavy haul in return for your No. 1 option.
